We have lived here almost a year. The yard is full of blooms.
This is the festival of flowers we missed at Biltmore, except it's in our own
yard! The camellias and poinsettias are nearing the end of their blooms.
The azaleas are budding and some have started blooming. The tulip tree is
in full bloom. The dogwood tree may be in too much shade as it did not
bloom. The hollies still have berries on them. The oak leaves are
falling like snow. This is a great time of year! Of course, this
means that by next week we will have to start mowing and trimming the hedges.
Here's some of the pictures I took today.
