Halloween 2004

This is the first year we celebrated Halloween at our new house. There were not a lot of kids that came by. Most came between 6:45 and 7:30. Jackye dressed in a slayer outfit and Mike dressed in a Grim Reaper outfit. We put George, our haunted suit of armor, on one side of the porch and Jackye sat in a chair on the other side with the candy bowl. Mike stood very still at the end of the podocorpus, which made a nice low hedge wall, and scared the kids as they came up. Only one young'un was too scared to walk by and get his candy. Many were not sure if he was fake or not until he jumped at them. There were a lot of good screams! Next year we are thinking of adding a fog machine and a couple of fake ghouls so they won't focus just on Mike.
